Here I introduce the figures that are my primary ''cast.''

OK -- There is no ''gag'' per se. It's funny because it is true.

This is an (gasp!) experiment. I wanted to give the ''four across'' style a try.
The argument between M and S are only two of the conflicting thoughts on the four across model. It is actually more work to compose that way, so I'm probably not going to use it except where it helps story telling.

Nothing too outrageous experiment-wise. However, the story teller in me said that I had to explain the ''fruit shot'' from the earlier strip.

The experiment here? Using one font for everybody.
I don't like the combination of drawn sea and real sky in the fourth panel, so I'll just call that another ''experiment.''
-
The experiment here is using one font for all speach.
You may also notice that Robot is hauling around a grey sheet. This is a ''grey card'' and it is used for acurate metering. I use a grey card in all of the experimental strips. In many cases you can't see it due to various Photoshopping that goes on, but it was used in the original ...

Here I'm really struggling with font size. Using a different font for each character is a pain in the @$$. Or if you need that translated to ''l33t'': 455.

Besides, I think I can squeeze some funny out of the fact they are different sizes.
Ignore the David Morgan-Mar comment in ...

Several notes on this one. First, the ''Horse! Pie!'' line is an homage to my friends Phil and Kaja Foglio and one of their Girl Genius pages.
Next, there is an experiment on putting the text outside of the image in an David Morgan-Mar-ish type device.
Further, I incorporated the copyright into the comic. Although it doesn't hurt to post ...

This is actually the first strip I shot. I had the ships out on the table top and said ''why not.'' The story evolved as I played around with camera angles.

This is the first experimental strip in terms of story. It's not the first one I shot. I'm working with the technology to get a consistent result.
